HIRING A HAT

Luxury hat hire, Camilla Rose’s beautiful handmade hats, headbands and fedoras are available to hire online or by appointment only at her studio in Hampshire.


HIRING A HAT FROM CAMILLA ROSE


1.     Choose your Hat

Book a studio or virtual appointment or browse our selection online. Appointments can be booked here.

2.     Choose your hire period

We currently offer 4, 8 or 12 days except for the month of June where hire is allowed for 3 days only (see note below). During your hire you will also have the option to extend your hire if the hat is not already booked by someone else.

3.     Select start date

You will receive you hat on or before this date.

4.     Pay for your hire via our website

A security deposit of 60% of the hire fee will be held whilst the hat is out of the studio.

5.     Receive your hat

Your hat will be posted to you and will arrive on or before day 1 of your hire.

6.     Event Day

Have a fabulous day, please read our care guide for information about wearing the hat and how to look after it.

7.     Return your Hat (on or before the final day)

Pack up the hat in the same or similar secure packaging your hat was sent (please do not use tape on the hat box) & send the hat back next day special delivery on or before the final day of your hire so that we receive it the following day. Please note if the final day falls on a Sunday or bank holiday please send back the next working day.

Further information:

If a hat, headpiece, or headband is lost, stolen, or returned in a damaged (including any dents, loss of decoration or water damage) or dirty condition that exceeds normal wear and tear, as determined by Camilla Rose in its sole discretion there will be a replacement charge up to the full retail value of the piece charged to the hirer.

If the hire is returned late please note you may be charged an overdue fee. For example on a 3/4 day hire for a hat of hire value £80 if your hat is late there will be an additional cost of £48. This is because the hire has extended into the 8 day period which likely impacts another persons hire.

If you know your hire has been damaged and or it will be returned late we would very much appreciate you letting us know in advance so we can make sure we can arrange replacement hire for other customers.

Royal Ascot & June Hire:

Please note hire for the month of June is for 3 days only and you must select the June option when booking otherwise your hire will be cancelled.
